costruire il Muro di Berlino
tra le strade di Milano
per separare il prima dal dopo
e trovare un nuovo rancore
e piegare i raggi del sole
a illuminare tutto quello che amiamo
e svegliarci il mattino

Scrivere versi con lo spray
per poi scoprire amaramente
che quelle poesie
non sono fiori tra i capelli
ma cocci di bottiglia
puntati alla nostra gola

Ma poi sento questo odore di caffè

da un fornello di innocenza
che brucia sogni e vecchi quaderni

if we build the Berlin Wall
in the streets of Milan
to split what comes before and what comes afterwards
and to find a new grudge
so we can bend the rays of sunlight
to lighten up everything we love
and finally we can wake up in the morning
with hunger in our eyes
and burnt hands

We write verses with spray bottles
and then we bitterly realize that
those poems are not
as flowers on our hair
but they are shards of bottles
aimed to our throats

from a flame of innocence
that burns dreams and old notebooks
